I've never watched more than 5 seconds of Kimmel's show that I remember, and that would be because I landed on it while channel surfing and needed a couple of seconds to recognize what it was.

I knew Colbert would immediately go left (over his flat out denials) when he took the job from Letterman, so I've never watched him either.

Used to watch Conan and he started getting political, so I haven't watched him since.

Why is it that guys like you are all billy badass when a stray politics topic comes to the OT or other board, but you're too chickenshit to take it to the poliboard where this crap belongs?

At least guys like cappervin have the balls to post there.

I saw a norm MacDonald video recently where he nails it. Talks about how bad comics use Trump as a crutch and how good comics have to pay the price because the lowest common denominator eats that shite up.

Norm McDonald is funny except as Col. Sanders. I actually think John Stewart is funny even though he hates Trump.

I don't watch any of those shows because it's all about politics and hating America.

He wasn't afraid to give Obama shite, either, after Obama had been in office for a while.

You just described all the late night shows.

Not really.

People always shite on Fallon and Corden, but they typically stay away from full-on political material.

Political jokes are so trite and non creative.
Talk shows are just a shitfest of predicitable "comedy".

Frankly, news channels are the same. Not with the comedy, but with the coverage.
At no point on CNN or MSNBC would I hear a pro Republican story. At no point on Foxnews would I hear a pro Democrat story. Rinse and repeat.

As soon as the news goes off, I turn that shite with a quickness as soon as I start hearing his intro. Can't stand that fricker, or most of the late night hosts for this very reason.

Agreed. Political humor is to be expected but his entire monologue EVERY night is anti-Trump. I guess the northerners love it, sad part is that the jokes aren’t funny at all.

I have a great idea for a show: how about a right wing guy getting a late night show that takes place in Houston or Dallas.

1.) No network would pick it up.

2.) “Right wing” comedy is not funny and is based in meanness and anger.

3.). The only celebrities who would come on would be Ted Nugent, Kelsey Grammer, and Tim Allen. Throw in a few more and you’d have a week’s worth of shows. Then you’d have to start over.

4.). Musical guests? Hope you like Bro Country.

5.) Show would have worse ratings than Chevy Chase or Magic Johnson (yes-he had a late night show)
