So Lanie Wilson will not just randomly show up and play some tunes for them?

I have an older (upper 50s) family friend that works at a dude ranch up in that area of the country. They are more of a tourist attraction allowing people to vacation and go ride horses and see how a ranch works. He seems to be able to score with the female guests frequently. Kinda funny to listen to his stories. But the pay is shite. You get free housing and a place to keep your horse 6 to 8 months out of the year. 3 hot meals a day. But you're not saving for retirement by any stretch. He enjoys it but accepts it for what it is.

When you read it all out like that good grief my life sucks. Ha!

If you can’t tell when a cow is gonna calve by looking at her vagina then don’t bother applying.

Yeah but making them horses spin around and around and grind to a halt, priceless.

That's the deal breaker for me. I like not being a meat crayon flung against the rocks because some a-hole horse saw a piece of rope. I hate horses. Any horse I get on better be so old it has autopilot.

This job sounds like a good job for someone about 21 and 160 lbs.

Did anyone mention how you're working outside in Wyoming and the weather is downright awful 75% of the year, ESPECIALLY on the east side of the state where the wind stays 40+ mph in the winter?

For close to no pay. You usually do get room and board in the bunk house.

If I were 21 leaving the Air Force again I’d jump at it.

Right after you put down your 34 year old horse on New Year’s Eve.

You best enjoy the sight of sage brush because that’s all there is to look at in that part of Wyoming.

Yeah, that’s a dude ranch. Very different from what is being offered in the OP. That is a real ranch. Middle of nowhere. The only women you will see are the ranchers’ family and few hard-bitten cases in some nearby scrub town. If you are not well acquainted with Fistina you soon will be, because she will be your best, and only, girl.
