CSB: On the way home from Greenville today, I stopped at a fried chicken joint. As luck would have, there were three cop cars in the parking lot with lights on. The cops were searching a vehicle/questioning the occupants.
I went inside, got my lunch, Sat down and chatted with the customers and staff as we watched the cops do their job.
I was the only white person on the property. No issues.

Not a care in the world.
Where I live (Arlington VA) it's almost exclusively people from Guatemala and Honduras doing fast food work. They are generally happy to be here instead of back down south, and consistently get the order right no matter how many specials I throw at them.
That said, if I were back in BR with entitled hoodrats working the grill I'd be cooking at home much more often.

Everyone I've encountered at gas stations, grocery stores, etc over the past few days has seemed to be a bit more friendlier than normal, actually.
It was mainly the paid protesters who tried to stir up our city.

I live in Arlington also. Nothing but Indians (Wendy's courthouse), Mexicans and Arabs here in the food business.

Good call. Luckily we have tons of Jamaicans, Hatians and various Caribbean islanders working the fast food joints. Most of them are more racist against American blacks than tigerlee so I don't worry as much here
