Any social media platform not founded exclusively as a "No females clout posting and picture posting for dopamine hit attention" platform will become "A females clout posting and picture posting for dopamine hit attention" platform.
Linkedin is so bad now, its just women seeking attention and Jeetgineers posting AI pictures acting like they arent dumb.

LinkedIn is so, so bad. Every time I make the mistake of going on there I am just astounded by how dumb people really are. I think if I had to choose I would rather associate with the average street criminal than the average LinkedIn poster.

my favorite LinkedIn thing is the obviously fake stories about recruiting/negotiating and the people in the comments pretending that it's not obviously fake

The critical thing is that the overwhelming majority of dudes are just posting to have fun and blow off some steam. Ego really doesn’t enter into it hence why we are all mostly semi-anonymous posters here. Just shitposting and having a few laughs.

LinkedIn is straight up entertainment because in my feed I will see a post about how accounting candidates have more pull than ever. Companies are in need of people who can find good candidates that align with company values.
And then right underneath it's about how a recruiter saved an accounting candidate who had been job searching for 6 months. In a tough job market, a recruiter is necessary.
