2016 Ram 1500 Big Horn - 110k miles (I drive a fair amount).
No issues with the drive train at all.
A few electronics quirks have picked up over the years, but not significant enough to me to really invest time and money into fixing. For me:
- Front bumper "getting too close" sensors not working
- Compass fails to calibrate about 50% of the time.

Those guys are exaggerating. It’s like with any manufacturer, if someone knows one person that’s had an issue then the whole brand is garbage and should be avoided.
I own a Ram. I had one before that. My grandfather bought nothing but Rams for 35 years. I love them.
I told him to buy one, just not a gas V8.
If you won't listen to me listen to The Car Wizard.
It's a known issue.

I have a 2020 Limited. Drove the rebel and liked it, but decided on the Limited for a few of the options. Very happy with the truck. The interior and the tech are amazing. Drove Chevy, Ford, Toyota too. Just really liked the Ram the best. The ride and seat comfort is what pushed it over the top for me.

My ram work truck is possessed by a demon. It does have a nice stereo.

Thanks skint back... Great review on the rebel

drove 4 F150's and a 250 from 2004 until last year
my laredo ram is miles ahead of my last f150 platinum in every category.
ETA: I put 30-40K miles/year on my trucks

I considered a Ram 2500 a few months ago. Was looking at used one's 2-4 years old. Every one, and I mean every one, when I opened the door it sounded like it was going to fall off. I spoke to a buddy that runs a tire shop. He said yep, that's the good old Dodge door hinges. He gets in and out of them every day to pull them into the shop. It's a shame, the Cummins is such a nice powertrain, just wrapped around a turd of a body. As much as I wanted one I just couldn't pull the trigger on a Dodge. On a side note, I know a couple guys that have them and like them, but they're the types to trade in every few years for a new one so I guess they don't give them long enough to fall apart.

Are there any options you wish you got. Debating on split tailgate and ram box.

had a big horn 1500 for a couple of years nice truck. upgraded to 2500 laramie longhorn and havent had any issues.
the one issue I had with both is the trucks came from factory not aligned properly.
also, definitely get the ram box, it is very very convenient.

2020 Ram Limited after driving GMC my entire life.
No ragrets at this point...still early at only 8,500 miles, but it’s freaking luxury in a truck. GMC has completely shite the bed with their lack of upgrades to the interior.
Was not opposed to Ford, but felt the Rams had put together a damn good package of exterior and interior styling.
Was worried about reliability, but my 2015 GMC was disappointing in that regard (which was my first experience with that from the Sierra) so I was open to “taking a chance”.
So far, very glad that I did.

I don't think RAM is the best truck on the market.
I do think they are the best value though. I don't like sinking a lot of money into a depreciating asset.
Lower price point with better options. I bought mine when it was 2 years old taking advantage of depreciation. I've gotten 5 great years out it so far and have only paid $25K.

I have a 2014 RAM with the V8 I bought new, now has 60k miles with 0 issues. I drove a few trucks and the RAM was by far the best driving truck of them.
That said, the paint is the poorest quality of any vehicle I've owned in the last 15 years. You look at it and it leaves a scratch.
I also tow a 16' enclosed trailer nearly 100% of the time I drive this truck. It struggles in the hills and absolutely drinks gas over 65mph. Gas mileage drops to around 8-9 mpg.
The rear suspension also binds up under the tongue load and rides really rough. Not bad on the highway, but we are always at race tracks and you can really feel it on some of those small roads. Mind you, I'm only hauling 2 or 3 dirtbikes plus gear at any given time. Less than 1000lbs load.
I'm really considering getting rid of it and getting an F250, but it's hard to justify $70k for a truck when I'm currently driving around 6000 miles per year in it.

Own a 2019 Big Horn Crew Cab.
Have put 34k miles on it. No issues whatsoever.
Love the truck, interior is very spacious with way more storage compared to Chevy and Ford.
I test drove the Silverado & F150 and the RAM simply was nicer inside and rode better. I think the stigma of RAM is outdated and misplaced. The new RAMs really are the best truck on the market right now.

I’ll put my avatar on the back glass if you pay per mile. Deal?

'15 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 and I do lots of towing with it. It does a nice job with my lift on 20' trailer. Total load around 8800 lbs. But it rides rough with my dual axle 12' box trailer. My previous box trailer towed smooth as silk...different brand. The geometry & suspension of the trailers must have a lot to do with it.
110k miles. My main nit is the exhaust manifold bolts have a known problem. Fixed it once, not this time. Makes it sound like valve clatter when running.

Look nice but you will have issues and regret it. I’m speaking from experience.
