you not have to heat the milk for formula? measure the formula?

My baw has been drinking cold water from the fridge for his bottles since he was about a month old. He'll be 2 at the end of August and is 34" and 30 lbs. Babies are babied

I don't need to own it to see that it's not all that great. Is this not you complaining about it not function properly on day one?

So how great can you really think it is when the only day you've used it it hasn't worked properly?

Premeasured water in bottle plus the partitioned container for like four bucks where you can load up the scoops. Cheap and easy.

Premeasured nursery water at room temperature. Have two of those partitioned containers full of formula ready to go. Easy as shite to dump in premeasured formula and shake at 3 am.

Breast fed until my wife couldn't keep up with the feedings once my son got to be 4 months old.

I don't have a problem. Seems you do with a formula maker though.

Breast milk is the way to go.

As others have said yes this is ideal but not always possible. Plus it is incredibly hard.

The lactation at LGMC said it perfectly- birth is a natural process but that doesn't mean it's an easy thing to do; it's the same with breastfeeding. Many factors can come into play that can ruin the experience someone wants to have.

No - we didn't use formula, but had to bottle feed breast milk.

That damned push button bottle warmer we bought was the best money I've ever spent. We would put the water in for the overnight bottle before we went to sleep, so all we had to do was put the bottle in and press the button and 90 seconds later, we would have perfect temperature milk.

I don't remember how much they charged for that thing, but it isn't enough.

This all the way.

And I second the comments about not giving warmed up bottles to baby. Baby will come to expect that and you'll be screwed one day. I'll never forget the day I had to scrounge around a restaurant in France to find a plug for my bottle warmer with a screaming 4 month old begging for a bottle.

Second child learned to drink bottles straight from the fridge if needed.

If you need a machine to make a bottle you have issues.

people that have to use formula? seems pretty convenient

1-3 scoops and shaking the bottle for 10 seconds is pretty fricking convenient too.

We used the above "old school" method for two kids and they turned out just fine.

A microwave will do it in 15 seconds. So now you're telling me you spent $180 to take longer?

You're not supposed to put bottles in the microwave

Are you suggesting we put babies in the microwave instead?

SO put a cup in the microwave the pour it in the bottle. I guarantee I can do that and clean the cup faster than 90 seconds.
