its basically a Keurig for formula

weve used it for a day, I dont think the settings for my sons formula are accurate (He's on Nutrimagen). seems watery and makes him spit up

anyone have similar issues?

Saw that in the store yesterday while we were registering, and I just laughed as I wondered what kind of person spends $180 on such a ridiculous contraption.

y'all do realize that sometimes the woman cannot breast feed for a number of reasons or the kids requires formula, right?

breast milk is obviously the way to go in a perfect world, but sometimes things just don't work out

I realize it just fine. I also realize that the baby industry is full of useless gadgets that they trick new parents into thinking they need.

in theory its not ridiculous
you can put 2 cans of formula in there
the machines always on, so the water is always warm (its set at body temp)
bottle takes like 5 seconds to make, helpful at 3am

I only got to use mine for 2 weeks before my daughter got GI issues and had to be put on Puramino, but I loved it.

Nothing better than waking up at 2:30AM, pressing a button and screwing the top on.

On the flip side, it did screw up every once in a while.

I dont know if I would use it for a specialty formulas like Nutramigen, Puramino, etc.

Although I loved the convenience. I dont trust it enough to accurately mix the Puramino every time, and at $45 a can I cant afford that.

this doesn't seem useless though

seems pretty convenient, like he said, a Keurig for formula

is it 100% needed? of course not

does it make life easier? almost assuredly

Equating it to a Keuring isn't helping

Doesn't seem to be helping OP too much at the moment.

Is mixing a liquid and a powder and shaking a bottle that difficult? I mean, you're essentially doing the same thing with this thing, except you add a step to have to clean the contraption.

don't know, never used formula

do you not have to heat the milk for formula? measure the formula?

buddy of mine has it and says it's great, especially at 2am when you have to mix formula. I believe you can get it on Amazon for $120

My daughter bottles and breasts feed

We use room temp nursery water for bottles. She drinks them fine.

Mixing the formula is easy, one scoop for every two oz water. Even at 3am it's easy

With that being said, I might get one of these. Depending on how much effort to clean.

It is useless. Scoop in the bottle and shake. That is it. For those warming it up, bad call. It is not needed and you are setting yourself up for failure. The day will come when you can't warm it and your kid will lose their shite over a non warmed bottle
