Couple of blog/essay pieces I have done for my company's social content have been picked up by industry magazines.

A few papers in grad school, but it was a group of us, not just I.

Not I. My wife publishes medical articles/studies/abstracts pretty often.

Published some of my research in peer reviewed journals, and have produced music, which is technically also published.

I've thought about writing something about a lesser-known exploit of World War II, or something in that vein. I'd have to do it after the kids move out or I retire, when I can devote myself to the time, effort, and research needed. Book publishing, as far as I can tell, is pretty dog-eat-dog.
Oh, I did have something printed in a Smiley Anders column once. Does that count?

I was published in a law journal on 4th amendment constitutional law while in law school.

Yes. Three publications printed by LSU in conjunction with the La. Dept. of Education. Oh, and Gresham sucks.

Some short stories. A poem I wrote in college got published to some important poetry journal.
I’ve had family and friends tell me to write a novel but I can’t get past the “this is fricking terrible” feeling when I start writing it.

used to work for The Sporting News online and would submit a paragraph (or less) of context regarding the daily topical GIFs I was hired to create.
You GIFs are legendary my friend! Got anything recent?

A hot professor chick uses my TD writings as teaching material for a WGS class. I'm gonna say that counts

I have self-published four novels available on Amazon.

Yes. A local history book.
It wasn’t a money maker and it really didn’t pad my resume’ at all.
Still, I can say I’m a published author.
