Lol that's a good ice breaker to make yourself stand out. My fave was "I'd walk bare foot through 3 miles of broken glass just to hear you fart over a walkie talkie."
I typically sing "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" to them, resulting in carnal knowledge, of a lady this time, on the premises. Win the bet, get the girl.

Run into women who are "too busy" to text back? Where you only get a message every few days?
This means they have no interest

Nice, but 2 point deduction for crazy given hairdresser

Just being honest, "too busy" means they actually aren't feeling you and/or they are just on their out of boredom / ego boast
I did meet my wife on one, but the apps are pretty solid in NYC. It's actually your best bet to be honest. Nearly everyone I know that is married met via app.

Hot younger women rule the dating sites in America and in the West…. Go to South America or Asia or Eastern Europe and older white American (Western) guys become the ‘hot young chick’ on the dating apps…. We get literally hundreds of messages (not just ‘likes’) from beautiful younger women over the course of just a few days, and we have our pick… Hard to wrap ur brain around if youve never experienced it, but it’s 100% true .

I've had some good luck on Hinge but after getting back on there for the first time in about a year, the last 2 girls I've scheduled dates with have cancelled last minute. I don't remember this happening much in the past so not sure if it's just bad luck or if the sites are going downhill

Here’s my approach
A. If there’s enough back and forth, ask on an actual date after about two days of talking, I’ve almost never been rejected by someone local
B. If you have to ask all the questions and get answers to your questions but they show no interest in getting to know you, give up

The best first message is to ask a question about something written in her profile. She likes to travel for instance, ask her what destination is at the top of her bucket list. General pickup lines are a waste of time.

Bumble was the only one worth a shite. Seemed like classier broads on there. Girls have to talk first, making them feel in control and safer, thus vulnerable
This you?

Most people never get a response back. Those types of messages stand out. It’s gotta vibe with your personality but the whole thing is to stand out and not “need” to talk to her. The hopes is that you schedule a date the next day or two (three tops) before she has time to get invested in any of the other 1000 douches she has telling her how hot she is.
Honestly the best way to stand out the best these days is to just go up to a girl and say whatever you want. It never happens anymore. If I were single I’d do it all the time.

because they are currently shuffling 6-8 different guys and fricking them all, searching for that wannabe millionaire that can support her every whim.

even the super good looking rich guys settle for average chicks and consequently, the average chicks now think they deserve a super good looking rich guy (until he bails) because they keep swiping right.
It is absolutely critical that men understand this. Men sleep with women they already have ruled out for an LTR. We categorize them as potential keepers or short termers, but we will sleep with both. Men will bat down, women bat across or up. Unattractive women get a bite of a super handsome charmer who just bangs her because he is bored, and thinks she is in his league, and she starts rejecting all the men who actually are in her league. I don't want to say that women need to lower their standards if they want long term relationships, but women need to lower their standards if they want long term relationships. They can't all have long term relationships Hardbody Department head Chad with the Porsche and two vacation homes. But once they've had Chad, they have a really hard time going back to Chubby-nice, good guy Bob in the12 year old Toyota from Sales who is actually in her league.

Hairdressers, teachers and nurses, bro. We all know what that means. Glad you got a great one but I'll accept the odds on those three professions. Especially teachers.

My unsolicited advice, get off the dating sites.I fell in love with a girl I met on a dating site, but overall I think it it better to meet women organically where your vibe and personality and intelligence and verbal game and playfulness can really shine.
I agree there, it's just a tool to facilitate a meetup. When I was using it I was trying to go from matching to in person meet ups as quickly as possible. It was usually within a day or two of matching. Usually to grab a quick drink after work at the Rum House or Olive or Twist since I worked nearby. You could usually see what you were working with for around $20 during happy hour. If it seems like there was something there I'd ask her out on a real date or if it was just smash potential keep doing the bar meetup thing. Was pretty successful with it and was usually meeting up with two or three women per week. Even if I wasn't attracted to them it was a lot of fun and I got a lot better at dating. I wasn't really looking at the initial meetup as trying to smash, just feeling things out.

Man, you have come a long way since the last time we talked, when you were still married and one child still in high school.
Good for you.
