If I had FU money I wouldn't buy this Defender knock off, I would buy a Kindred Bronco.

Interestingly enough, Sewell in DFW sells both

I was in the market for a well done Defender when the Grenadier was announced. Just didn't like the idea of trusting something like that to daily.

LX Overtrail. Love it. Although I would probably opt out of the third row if I did it again. Otherwise it’s been an amazing vehicle but I am a little worried about the engine recall hitting me in the future. But the performance is second to none. It’s a monster.

Bad arse looking, finding a slightly used one for a weekend vehicle would be the move imo. Daily driver.. idk.

Frick it, buy it, with the coming fake alien invasion and nukes lowing up in Eastern Europe, money won't matter.

In jest

Unless you mean parts manufacturers like Brembo, ZF, Carrero or Recaro

I thought the body was made in another country and the frame in yet another.

I know / know of two people that own one. One guy (that I actually know) does his “heavy duty driving” to Whole Foods and Woodhouse spa. Maybe on a big day, he’s lugging his clubs to U Club. And I bust his arse constantly
For it. lol:

The other one, whom I really don’t know too well, is an architect and “interior designer”. Take it what you will, cowboy

Love it. Have had it three years and has only been in the shop for oil changes.

I would seriously hope that for any new car that it has only been in the shop for oil changes in the first 3 years of ownership.

I don't think they have metal forging and convert iron ore to steel, but all the assembly and welding type stuff is done in Hambach at the factory.

Pretty good video that Amazon did going through the factory.

BMW engine that gets like 15 MPG city and highway

I think that’s probably only with hammer-down acceleration though.

The B58 straight-six turbo is one of the best engines ever made.

If Ineos would just add a mild hybrid for start assist like an X5/X7 (or GLE/GLS) it would probably get 20/25 MPG.

I was thinking of a generator at first since my eyes were still adjusting from waking up and at first I thought the OP couldn’t spell generator or was having a stroke.
