I like the way they look but I'll stick to old lexus and Toyota land cruisers

So you’ll stick to getting ripped off. Most overpriced and overrated vehicles out there. I had a 60 series Land Cruiser which has nothing but problems.

150,000 miles on a gx is just breaking it in though. Very few have mechanical totalled. Engines go 300k miles.
The old 4.7 and 5.7 v8s last forever and you don't really need premium fuel either.

Especially if you're your own mechanic.
I DD a nearly 20 year old lexus and I've put almost nothing into it. Going to do a major tune up and suspension change soon. I have a grand total of $8500 in it including purchase and maintenence and repairs.
My 2021 Ford work van was in the shop for months and needed a transmission. My 2022 Pilot had awd failure.
But my old arse Lexus keeps on going and IF I blow it up. Or the transmission goes out I'll get my hands on a Tundra and pull the drive train out and put it back in the road.
Especially if you're your own mechanic.

I saw one in the wild in Colorado last year and I was impressed. I would definitely drive it.
