Are you really aware of an ancestor who was from Iceland? I didn't think they emigrated anywhere.

Protestant land stealer of northern Ireland. Where be my reparations n shid?
Edit: to clarify, I mean that OP, being of Protestant scotch-anglo origins, stole catholic northern Ireland from the native Irish. As I am of Irish descent, I inquire as to where my overdue reparations are.

I was previously limited to Western Europe (British Isles, France, Spain, and Germany). That made sense based on everything I could find on my family's history.
Now they've added Northeastern Italy (2%) and Quebec (7%). I don't know of a single Italian ancestor, and while Canada was French and English...I don't know of a single ancestor on my mother's side (where these are showing up) that didn't come to New Orleans via Europe.
It's either BS or buried deep in some historical quirk that is hard to find.

Like how does timing and racial makeup factor in?
For instance, if your direct ancestors were Moors who conquered Spain would you be shown with Spanish or N. African origin?

same thing with the acadian region...previously i had 8% french, no acadian...no zero french and 1% acadian...
it appears that they have taken only some regions to their most recent point in history...i'd prefer if they took all regions as far back as possible...i think that would be more accurate...
