There is no need/reason for federal assistance to deal with a peaceful protest. The vast majority of people in this country understand that.

Do I really believe there a lot of cops in Seattle and Portland that relish in doling out physical harm to these people? Yes, absolutely. Especially knowing they can do it with little fear of accountability. Add to it the hero status they are receiving by some folks in other parts of the country. I've been around enough cops to know that.
I'm sure there are an equal number that would just assume walk away and find a policing job somewhere else.

It's time to stop letting the democratic leaders in that area make the decisions. Trump needs to send in the hammer. Save those poor people no nmatter the cost.

Why would anyone want to live in any city that is not policed by some form of law and order? I for one know we need the police. In the illustrious words of Mike Tyson, "this is ludicrous man".
