That’s the biggest thing in the herd immunity argument. Do they continue to shed the virus after symptoms have ended? Are the tests accurate? Are reports of reinfection in areas accurate (I won’t trust China’s data, but South Korea is reporting the potential for that while noting it could be shoddy tests).

Just wondering, for these antibody testing, does it diffrentiate between individuals who's had it in the past and who may currently be an asymptomatic carrier.
It may not, which is fine. But that could be the difference between knowing you should self quarantine yourself for 2 weeks, and having the clear to immediately go visit Nana and Papa

It's stupid how this whole time people are screaming about the 5% death rate of Covid and saying the flu is only .02% when those two numbers aren't even calculated the same way.
We assume millions upon millions of flu cases every year to get the number down that low. The Covid number is the straight up deaths from positive tests rate. This year's flu had a deaths from positive tests rate of over 3%.
Antibody testing is showing us it's safe to assume millions upon millions of cases like they do for the flu to get a more accurate death rate for Covid.

South Korea is leaning a lot more towards bad tests at this point. Which means the testing still has lots of room for improvement.

I am a biologist by training, and having taken Microbiology in the not too distant past, the other interpretation of this study is that the current antibody test is not specific enough and picks up antibodies from other strains of Coronavirus.
