Scientists always invent frivolous pills to make old people live longer but no one will help us hangover sufferers

Another science breakthrough of nothing. Lots of “could” “may” “we think” “if we figure out” “we predict” and on and on.

I'd rather just double my 20s-60s and call it a day

My 62yo retirement plan has me dying by 90-92ish, and I'm OK with that. I'll have to work till 85+ to afford living to 150.

And what about quality of life?

So who's going to financially support people living to 150 years old?

yeah, well, we had step-function changes in longevity when we messed with the natural order via germ theory, child bearing and sanitation. granted this one is more sci-fi seeming to us now, but so were those other key advances at the times they came about (even thought they didn't have sci-fi then...).

I have been married for 25 years.

Does this mean I am less than a third of the way through it all?

And will weed be totally legal, and the opiate crisis have calmed down?

Living to 150 is gonna hurt. Motrin won't cut it.
