That is true. In all honesty, the only times I'm really exposed to commercials anymore is through this website.

As someone who has no dog in this fight and generally hates both conservatives and liberals, you're out of your mind if you think conservatives are the ones pitching the biggest fit. On this board, yeah it seems like it because it's like 90/10 C to L, but the current version of cancel culture skews massively L.

The problems - the kid should’ve never answered the door nor have been left by him/herself at home alone
Didn’t even realize the kid was a boy until the final scene and that punk kid got what he deserved - I don’t believe in transgenderism but you also don’t teach your kids to be arse holes to people who aren’t bothering you just because they’re different
Plus that kid at the end has blue streaks in his hair and was way too old to be wearing a cape - like he has any room to talk
But the way the witch handles it is too much too
It’s ok for the ‘victims’ to settle things with violence

I’m not talking about cancel culture though, and I’d agree that no particular ideology has a monopoly there. My post there was not limited to this board or even the site. I was referring to the conservative news media and conservatives in general who consume said media.

It's pretty disturbing that the message sent here is that violence is the answer to verbal harassment. It seems like the reasonable response would be to defend yourself with words. I get that it's a witch, but wtf.
