St.James cheese company on Tchoupitoulas. Across from Vic’s kangaroo bar. Too bad since they had a great selection of cheese, beers on tap, and wine. It was a solid choice when you you were eating a late dinner but wanted something to snack on. Perhaps they’ve been hanging out down the street at LaBoca.
Considering the majority of their clientele - mostly woke, guilt-ridden wypipo perhaps they’ll make it. I still don’t get it though. There will be numerous businesses that will not come back (see St. Charles Tavern, K-Paul’s, etc.) yet they are determined to tick off those of us that see what BLM has become. Helluva sword to fall on. [/img]

Out of curiosity, how many of their customers were black? How about employees?

New Orleans is one of the most liberal cities in America. Maybe you should move?

Will white patrons be treated the same as black patrons?
What about police patrons?

Thankfully the business has not been peacefully protested yet...

You should prob stay & eat in the food wasteland that is Metairie

Metairie has some great spots but I personally dread crossing that Orleans/Jefferson parish line.

How much do you want to bet St.James will still be open next year. I doubt a majority of their clientele is represented in people who post on the OT.

At the rate we are headed Metairie will have more restaurants open than Orleans Parish in six months.

This has more to do with less people in the CBD than BLM.
