On May 21, 1934 on La Highway 154 south of Gibsland toward Sailes, lawmen ambushed the two, killing Barrow and Parker while shooting a combined total of about 130 rounds.

In Chicago a woman is being arrested for defying a Chicago edict banning “abbreviated bathing suits” on beaches. 1922.


The 1989 Hillsborough disaster was an incident that occurred during the FA Cup semi-final match on 15 April 1989 at the Hillsborough Stadium in Sheffield, England. The crush resulted in the deaths of 96 people and injuries to 766 others.

A few years ago someone posted a video taken driving down San Francisco in 1906. After a little digging we found out it was shot like a week before the earthquake, showing streets and buildings that would soon be leveled.
