Look up YouTube videos of what it looks like when a colony that's inside your walls swarms... You will know.

You could see them flying all down Old Hammond highway for miles in the headlights of passing cars.

In Central last night they were everywhere. Worst I’ve seen since I moved here in 2015.

Thick swarms on the street lights in Pumpkin Center area. Turn off any bug zappers outside. They’ll be quickly overwhelmed.. Don’t ask me how I know.

I am sure there is a reason , but why not do some aerial spraying when they swarm like this?

Bug plane was spraying over Mandeville last night during the swarm.

I woke up to a pool covered in them! Thousands floating dead, took me forever to get them out with my pool net.

Revelation 9:3-11 KJV
quote:
And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

Worst swarm i've ever seen in east feliciana last night!

Based on my limited knowledge of their life/nest cycle, I doubt it would make a big difference. But wonder each year why the mosquito trucks aren't out fogging during these nights.

The lost opportunity thanks to the scum of New Orleans:

I walked the dog and got everything else done early last night, in the hopes that my wife didn't notice the swarm and start her yearly termite freakout which includes frantically turning off all the lights and taping every window/door while yelping at everything that may or may not be termite in the house.
Mission failed. Her mom called to warn about the swarm. Door and windows taped. All lights off.
