Well, the idea of going out clubbing, travel somewhere or out to a nice restaurant (or even a crappy restaurant, for that matter) are all out, so what-to-do ideas are welcome.

What does your husband like to do?

I’m giving my wife a gift certificate to not have sex for 2 weeks. I think it’s gonna be a hit.

If you have a wine store or place like that, you can get the to make a nice cheese and/or charcuterie plate. Pair that with some wine and she will love it

My anniversary is this week as well. I’ve got zero ideas. We were supposed to be in Boston all week. Catching a Sox game... drinking around town... a couple nice dinners...

Go get a few lobsters and whatever side stuff you want. Candles, wine/liquor drinks whichever y’all prefer, lights off only have candle light, whatever music y’all like playing low. Drink, cook, laugh, drink, dance, drink, eat, laugh, drink, screw, drink, screw, pass out.

Make something “homemade” that isn’t something you typically can/would prepare...
Suggestions:
- Gnocchi (w/ sausage & vodka sauce)
- Sushi (if you’re wife likes sushi and there’s time to order the tools/ingredients you’d need)
- Spaghetti w/ homemade meatballs
- Stuffed peppers w/ lamb & andouille
If you are feeling lazy or aren’ta good chef, “Mississippi Chicken” is a favorite.
Chicken part:
1 pk chicken thighs
1 pk of ranch dry dressing mix
1/2 of 1 pk of au jus mix
1 stick of butter
1 jar pepperoncinis
Slaw part:
1 bag chopped cabbage
1 jar poppyseed dressing (fancier the better)
1/2 regular apple diced small
1/4 lb grapes halved
1 small red onion diced small
Chicken:
Put the chicken in the bottom of a crockpot and then add each ingredient on top (using only about 1/2 au jus packet!) and set to “low” for ~6-8 hours.
Once chicken is cooked through, use 2 forks to shred the chicken and remove any bones.
Slaw:
Dice the apple, onion, and grapes. Add to cabbage in a med/lg bowl, add dressing and mix thoroughly. Put in fridge to “marinate”.
Serve on potato rolls w/ poppyseed slaw and a cold beer.

Get a decent takeout meal and a nice bottle of wine. Order her a gift online. It will probably be a pretty memorable anniversary for you two.
