It’s about to hit Bassfield head on. I swear that town of 200 people is the biggest tornado magnet. It gets hit several times each year it’s insane

I mean, Mississippi is a relatively large place. What county are you in?

Does it have a lot of trailer parks?

I know it sounds like a stupid question but I swear places with RV camps and mobile home neighborhoods seem to get hit by every tornado.

Warning in Jefferson Davis
Severe thunderstorm in Covington

The warnings areas overlap

I'm not in any, but had just watched local TN weather and no mention of bad things anywhere near, then went on Accuweather and saw the Tornado Warning Mississippi
Came on TD and didn't see it,
Figured it might help someone there to do a heads up if they heard a freight train coming and there were no rail lines nearby.

Monday is a big day for me. I’m sure we’ll have a thread going on.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. Not in my part of the state, but I had no idea it was that bad here. I now see that the weather is gonna get touchy here around 2 AM

Stay safe my friend and enjoy the hydration.
My area of Livingston Parish is in desparate need of rain...but we'd like it to come without a tornado warning

I believe terrain factors in a lot.
Campgrounds and trailer parks just tend to be on those types of land for a reason.

Is there a meteorological explanation for this? I have noticed for YEARS that if Bassfield or tylertown have a CHANCE of tornado, whatever storm is there will start rotating.

I’m not saying weather machines or weather manipulation, but there has to be a reason. It can’t be coincidence.

Anyone who lives there needs to leave because it’s only a matter of time before either community is leveled beyond repair
