America the Beautiful - Name something you're grateful for as an American citizen.

I'll start.
I'm grateful for our rights under the 2nd Amendment. I believe this is what separates America and its people from the rest of the world.
America's not perfect, but I do believe it's as good as it gets on this Earth.
Happy 4th of July to each and every one of you.

I’m grateful for the diversity of this country. Real diversity—the differences between the southerner, the yankee, and the westerner in geography and culture. Until not so long ago, we were happy to leave each other in peace. I hope that will come again.

I'm thankful for the people of this Country. A quote from Staff Sgt. David Bellavia will be correct as long as we have a military:
"Iran, Russia, China, North Korea, ISIS, al-Qaida. They may be watching this right now. Our military should not be mistaken for a cable news gabfest show. We don't care what you look like. We don't care who you voted for, who you worship, what you worship, who you love. It doesn't matter if your dad left you millions when he died or if you knew who your father was. We have been honed into a machine of lethal moving parts that you would be wise to avoid if you know what's good for you.
We will not be intimidated. We will not back down. We've seen war. We don't want war. But if you want war with the United States of America, there's one thing I can promise you, so help me God: Someone else will raise your sons and daughters."
I think the folks that aren't the crazies we see on social media are ready to get dirty with whoever actually threatens our way of life in a real way.

I am grateful for everything as is because we are the greatest country in the world, second to none by a long shot. We are so blessed in the face of the hatred from our internal adversaries constantly attacking.
