This is the reason young people are quitting in society. Once the young people quit then the system collapses. How about a profit sharing bonus or something so we can build some savings for a house. Corporations say, best I can do is a stick of gum

That’ll feed a family of 4 for a week. Lucky bastards. Can’t wait to see what they get for Black Friday and Christmas bonuses.

Better than nothing. Not sure what would make them happy though. You're gonna get it wrong unless you give them $20,000 bonus. As an employer it's hard to get this stuff right. That looks cheesy in their eyes but if they said or did nothing they would be pissed. Now they're pissed bc it's cheesy. Should they have just said thanks for all your hard work?????? Prob so.

I wouldn’t bitch about it because I’m not a soft little bitch like you apparently.
And “pizza party” what is this elementary school?

And this is exactly why more and more employers don’t do extra shite for their employees.

They probably work harder than 80% of the OT who sit in front of a computer monitor all day.

We earned that right by putting in the time and hard work early in our career's

If we are working 6-7 10s or 12s the plant will bring in a creamery in the summer, or cook burgers, stuff like that at least 3 times not including biscuits during safety meetings.

Reminds me of when I worked at the bank, and I sold the most CDs in the entire company.
They made a huge deal out of it. The division manager told me "Your efforts made our quarter, and will not be forgotten. I'm going to make sure you get something nice for this."
A week later I got a stack of bank branded post it notes.

My neighbor was an Amazon driver. Every time he returned to the warehouse he had to face a computer screen that told him how he could have saved time on his route.
Then the computer docked time off his lunch break. Most days he wound up with 15 minutes for lunch.
Next, day and every day, same thing, until he quit.

No the high turnover rate is because it's bottom of the barrel trash that work there. Most of them are lazy as hell.
This right here, its a tough job and people go in thinking it will be easy since Amazon is so synonymous with being pretty awesome for one-day and same-day delliveries.

Meh, this is probably just one thing they’ve done. When I started in HR, I used to plan employee appreciation week and gave out things daily. Some days I walked around with an ice cream cart, brought in lunch for everyone or handed out small things like this.

Ted Kaczynski predicted this.
