Him doing what he did slowed it down for a while but it really has ramped up as of late.

Giving a bunch of adults some candy

They don't have to give them anything, but if you are going to get your employees something, don't insult them with something that their 5 year old would be more excited to have.

It's a completely different experience for people that work with the floor compared to IT and management and I would assume robot techs. Port Allen sort center didn't have robots so I can't speak to how yall are treated. L3 and below are treated like trash.

His job is on the floor at a distribution center. I also worked on the floor at a bunch of sites all over the country. It’s not bad at all. High turnover should be expected when you have to hire like Amazon does. There’s no getting in trouble for going to the bathroom, etc. HR folks are posted up on the floor at every site taking questions/complaints. Healthcare onsite as well.

Have you met some of these so called new "adults," they've been infantilized their entire life and some people within corporate thought this would be a rad way to thank their employees having little to no idea what they're actually going through in the warehouse.

Side note: This is just an example of the disconnect between white-collar and blue-collar workers.

Call me crazy but isn't the overtime rate their compensation for working overtime? Why was Amazon supposed to give them anything for doing their job? Our country is so entitled and broken.

Definitely not saying that there aren't some awesome young people in the workforce but the kind of person that thought it was an awesome idea to hand that out as a "thank you" has probably never had to perform physical labor.

We've had pretty good luck with Amazon on most stuff.....But have gotten screwed on 3 bigger items purchases....We ordered and even though it said NEW they were very used. One item was so bad a thrift store wouldn't put it on their shelves...We returned them and got refunded. It's just the hassle of it.
