The supreme court didn't hear a Colorado case about that issue this year so Louisiana thinks it has the green light to continue to tax the shite out of use

FYI because Amazon knew this was and other tax issues were coming to LA they also shut down their affiliate program in Louisiana. You can no longer earn a commission advertising for Amazon if you are based in Louisiana.
In short, if Tigerdroppings was based here, they couldn't generate revenue as an Amazon affiliate because of LA's new tax laws. This was actually started under Jindal too BTW.

, I know the feeling. I understand why people would be bummed out about it, but I don't believe it will change the habits of most high volume users.

With the cost of items now more than I can get locally. Adding taxes on top of it may effectively end my use of Amazon.

WalMart sure is trying to be like Amazon now, but their service is HORRIBLE! From the availability of items, to the time it takes to get to you, to their condition and what they look like once they get to you. And heaven forbid you have to pick up from the store.

Technically, people were supposed to be reporting their purchases on their taxes.

And technically people are supposed to report all cash tips as well... so... good luck with that.
