My shipments delivered via UPS & FedEx are 100% on time. My shipments delivered via USPS are about 50% on time.

Placed several orders since the new year, not one bas been delayed. One item said 2-3 days additional processing in the ad, but it's only a day behind the other items.

They give a free month of Prime if they miss a delivery window. I figure that's fair.
I usually send them an email saying USPS sucks at the 2 day guaranteed delivery. They respond sorry have a free month of prime added to your membership. I get about 6 free months a year

I've never had anything miss the 2 day window. Even did the no rush (5 business days) shipment on something to get the pantry coupon and it got here in 3 days.
My SO has only had 1 item out of like 6 orders make it on time. She orders from my account too and ships it to the same address I do.
Just this past week she ordered something on Prime and I ordered something the next day and I got my item before she got hers.

I use mine for business too and for the price I would tolerate a few 2 days.

The USPS sucks, bottom line.
On more than one occasion, I've gotten the missed delivery slip from the USPS for a Prime package. They say "dog was blocking door." My dog is on an invisible fence and cannot even get to the front yard. The USPS driver is a fatass and doesn't want to walk the 100 ft to my front door.
I try meet the truck the next day to explain and question their lack of delivery. It was always "someone else" driving the previous day.

I've been using it for years and never had a problem.
Maybe a delayed package here or there on UPS because of storms.
Also, yes the USPS totally suck. But the majority of my items arrive via UPS. But Amazon has sellers that might use USPS to save $$$.

My question is, do you guys complain or ask for any kind of refund? I mean, it shipped free, so there is not refund on the shipping directly.

Thinking back, it may have happened twice on what's probably 5 years worth of Prime and hundreds upon hundreds of transactions. When it did it happened to be time sensitive and I called to let them know and they tossed a credit at me.
I'd buy almost everything from Amazon if I could...

I've used them a great deal lately and haven't had a problem.
Now, I have had items show up around 8:00 at night.
I don't know how I would proceed. Once or twice I probably would let it slide. Anymore than that, and I would bring it to their attention.

More often than not, when they miss, it's been with USPS. Go figure.
Yep. This especially applies to Sunday deliveries

I almost always opt for the 5-7 delivery in order to get digital media credits to use on music or e-books, but when I do opt for prime it's almost always 2 days. Every now and then it'll take 3.
ETA: Most recent thing is I pre-ordered the new Ray LaMontagne album... it shipped this morning and is supposed to arrive tomorrow, next day. It was pre-ordered though, so it didn't have to go through processing like normal orders.

its maybe missed 1-2 times in 100+ orders since i started.
if you comment to them about it, they will likely give you credits or a month free, etc.... if you really needed it for a specific date and they blew it, you might even get the item free if it wasnt super expensive.

I've only ever had one delivery issue with Amazon.
Package showed delivered, but it wasn't. I contacted Amazon to let them know. They immediately shipped me a new item via next day air (on them), and told me to keep the original package if it ever somehow made it's way to my door.
Other than that, Amazon has been on point for me.

If you ever really need it, give them a call and be polite. The online chat service is shite but he people are very nice to speak to.
I ordered a desk on prime and it said its take 5 days.. A day in I called to ask what the deal was and she apologized and said she could do 1 of 2 things:
1) Give me a discount on the desk ( basically give me money back at this point)
Or
2) Overnight another desk to be to be there the next day and cancel the other one.
I chose 2 and bam, it was there the next morning, like 18 hours later.
They're an increasingly huge business and I think prime is becoming more and more difficult to manage but they still have amazing customer service

I sometimes get my packages in 1 day.
