I've only ever had one delivery issue with Amazon.
Package showed delivered, but it wasn't. I contacted Amazon to let them know. They immediately shipped me a new item via next day air (on them), and told me to keep the original package if it ever somehow made it's way to my door.
Other than that, Amazon has been on point for me.
Same thing happened to me. It was something I really didn't need in 2 days, but after 5 when it hadn't showed up I emailed customer service. They shipped a new one and it was on my doorstep the next afternoon. About 3-4 days after that, close to a week and a half after I ordered it, the other one finally showed up. The weird thing is the delivery tracking on it never updated after it said preparing for shipment. Even after delivery, it still showed preparing for shipment. Amazon said just keep it.
I have also tried to return things, and a few times on cheaper items they just refund the money and say keep it.

Better than Jet. Took 18 days to get my shite from them. Only saving grace was Jet was way cheaper than Amazon.

I'd say 50% of the USPS deliveries are late. I've probably received a full year of free Prime subscription, because I'm "that guy" who calls and complains every time they are late. Again, first world problems, but if I'm paying for two day shipping, I expect you to deliver it on time. If not, you'll hear from me.

If this isn't a first world problem then I don't know what is.
You got some kids worrying about where there next meal is coming from and then you got this guy. Hahahaha.

Maybe I'm reading this incorrectly, but it appears that Amazon is allowing some sellers to designate their items a "Prime", but not holding them to the 2 day delivery guarantee if they have to ship the item over a long distance. So the seller gets a boost in sales by listing their item as "prime" (because most prime members only want to by prime eligible items), but they don't actually have to follow through with it. Kind of chicken-shite if you ask me.

Beware Amazon Prime members: All blenders are not created equal.
A Cuisinart warehoused in California may no longer qualify for two-day shipping to a Prime member in Vermont. That’s the idea behind a new program Amazon is testing with some independent merchants.
The program, nicknamed Ship by Region, lets certain sellers designate where they’re willing to ship goods in two days or less to Prime members.
The merchants may limit how far they will ship some items – large-screen televisions, for example – with the two-day guarantee under Prime. If a Prime customer is outside that region, shipping may take longer.
Amazon, for now, is limiting the option to a select group of sellers authorized to list items as Prime-eligible even when the goods are housed in non-Amazon warehouses. That program aims to expand the number of items showing up in search results for Prime, Amazon’s $99-a-year program that offers free two-day shipping on most items. Previously, all merchants had to ship their goods to Amazon warehouses first for them to be Prime-eligible.
Peter Faricy, vice president of Amazon’s marketplace, said in an email that merchants participating in the direct-shipping program have seen sales rise.

question is, do you guys complain or ask for any kind of refund? I mean, it shipped free, so there is not refund on the shipping directly.
Yes. They will normally give me a free month or $10 credit.

the problem is, they are using USPS
those f'tards could ruin a wet dream about 2 midgets , a mule, and a paraplegic.
this past delivery, those morons, sent my package from tenneessee, to illinois, then all the way to kansas, before coming back to st.louis.
USPS + Amazon = Is it there yet?
No, it didn't, you paid X amount for Amazon prime, so ur paying for delivery, just not at a cost per delivery
