Just pick somewhere, good god. Is this going to be done on TV like the Olympic selection process? Will there be live feeds of crowds of disappointed people as cities are eliminated one by one from the final 5?

My guess too. Part of me thinks we (Dallas) don’t need more people and more pressure on housing.

That makes the most sense. Everything is shipped through that monster of an airport.

If we're going by cargo, I don't think Atlanta's airport would be as high on the list as you'd think.

I think Memphis would be the busiest airport by cargo. Louisville would also be up there.

A) UPS goes through Louisville and FedEx goes through Memphis

B) Having your headquarters near a cargo hub is irrelevant. You want your warehouses there.

I could have sworn that they already decided on LA/San fran for the new headquarters. Maybe that was another company.

I’ll guess Nashville or Atlanta.

Bookmarked.

I'm genuinely surprised a CA city is in the mix. I get the resources and human capital, but those taxes are simply suffocating.

the bay area does just fine with "crippling taxes"

I think CA was not in the mix because Amazon already has a west coast HQ

This is a meaningless cut. We already knew the top cities.
