Calling the police was a bad idea. Nothing would've happened if you did nothing. But your boy probably was on probation or parole, so that'll get revoked. Once he gets out of prison he's going to come looking for you.

Working construction most of my life, this happened more than once to me. Thankfully no one followed through with it. But I did have one guy find my number and call my home months after the job ended. Take it serious. But fear not.
