This is the text I received from an employee that quit mid shift today.

Little bit of backstory: Dude freaked his shite when I told him to stop sitting around and get back to work, after having had the foreman tell me several times if he sees him slacking any more then to get his stuff and go. (He's labor for a construction clean up sevice). Took off all his construction safety gear and dropped it on the ground then walked to his car and drove off.
He then started harassing my boss over text, mentioned me, and bitched about some bullshite. My boss relayed the shite this cultured individual (1-8-7 tattoo on the neck) was saying about me, so I decided to send said cultured individual a text telling him not to bad mouth me behind my back to my boss. Was very cordial about it all, and even wished him well and good luck. He replied with the above text.
Contacted the foreman, explained the situation and sent him that text. The foreman told me that if said person shows up on site the police will be called.
I don't have a gun, but now I'm most definitely getting one after this psycho's shite. Got a knife on me at all times and a bat in my car so I guess there's that. Any advice?




ETA - called 911 and they’re sending over a squad car to get some more info and see the text message. Will update later.

Update: Police came by to talk for about 10 mins to get his info, read the texts, and have advised me to not contact or respond to any future communications with him. They said if he contacts me, or my employer again, then that would be enough for a case. They put it on record, so now there's a case number. I'm already looking into purchasing a firearm. Thanks for all the input y'all. I know I deserve all the shite for being a dumbass and sending that text, but hopefully this will just be a lesson for me and nothing comes of it. Will be an interesting day at work tomorrow to say the least.
