What's the difference between contacting the cops and dialing 911? I explained the situation to the dispatcher, told them I was in no immediate danger, and they sent out a patrol car. Am I not allowed to make a request of a service my taxes go to?
It's a construction site with people coming and going all the time. Wouldn't be too hard for him to sneak onto the property unnoticed, stalk me and wait for an opportunity to arise where I'm vulnerable.

DTL got sent home from a contractor job one time at a plant. A family friend of ours who was a supervisor not involved in the dismissal came over there and drove him to the gate.
DTLs rant/venting to my friend during that ride was eerily similar to the text you received.

It would have died off, but you escalated it by texting him then calling the cops. And this wasn't a 911 emergency.
