Fair enough.
Real talk. If he doesn't attempt to reach for his gun and allows the officers to detain him once he is on the ground, do you agree he would have been alive following the encounter?
Keep in mind the cops attempted to talk to him, arrest him without incident, taze him, took him to the ground, and he was still fighting them with a weapon that it appears he was attempting to reach.

Does his hand go A. Closer to the gun or B. further away from the gun?

Facts
1. The 911 caller said he had a gun.
2. His hands were not going behind his back nor in the handcuffs
3. He got warned and then shot.
/your stupid arse conspiracy.

Everything after this is racist. The only fact that matters is an innocent, black, upstanding citizen who does everything he can to support his loving family, was brutally shot and murdered by the evil white devil through the arms of the white man.

This would be the perfect thing to distract from the Mayor's doltishness, but she will probably just add to her legacy.

3. Simple anatomy we can gather from the stills. Pic 1 elbow of right arm is seen. Pic 5 it's not and his head is raised. Lie on the ground and replicate pic 1 to 5, it is impossible to not have your hand end up within inches of your thigh. Whether pic 1 to 5 was intended to get that result is something the cops did not have the time to wait and see after he was told repeatedly to stop.
In life and in this encounter Mr Sterling was given a second and third chance. Unfortunately he chose poorly in both instances and his family and others have been negatively effected because of it.

This should have taken them a couple months maximum.
FEDS got involved. Nothing is fast and swift on the federal level.
Obama administration reviewed this case twice looking for a way to convict before deciding to hand it off to the incoming administration.

Also Ive been told that local police feel most of the protest will be concentrated in south Baton Rouge.

So once the thread got anchored the SS leaves the conversation?

Trying to figure out what is so hard to understand about this. He was armed and resisted arrest....If he had been in Somalia when I was there he would have died even sooner because our ROEs were pretty clear...you have a weapon we consider you hostile and we will shoot on sight. An LEO has a choice, you or me and 99.9% of the time I back them up with they know that the individual is armed or acts in a hostile manner. And please don't tell me it was a some trash like 380 or 22....in the proper situation or right hands (like mine) one shot can be lethal.

Because maybe this thread is still based on "sauces".

Brilliant to release the decision on a Wednesday. The middle of the work week.
