but where is the reportage in your local morning newspaper?
They’re treating it like any other killing that happens every day. They don’t realize how pissed off people are.

I don't think it's a serial killer, but who knows? Do you? The way this girl was murdered was quite intentional.
Every murder is intentional. The serial part implies multiple similar cases. To my knowledge, there have been no remotely similar cases around Baton Rouge.
People in Baton Rouge need to accept that there are a lot of criminals living in this town who don’t value life the same way a normal person does.

ghetto gang shite or some lone thug.
If some gang member or whatever you want to call it is going around and killing people of varying races, wouldnt that make him/them a serial killer?

Don't be shocked if it turns out to be a juvenile "known to the system"- but not to the public.

This one is not like those other ones.

Not really. Just to this board.

No. I think they realize that this is the one that has pushed MANY over the edge.
They’re watching the pot boil over and are panicking.

I’m willing to start a recall petition of Broome. But I obviously can’t do it alone. How many people will put their money where their mouth is to help in this fight?

Heard it nationally on Fox News Radio this morning.
This one is getting a lot of attention and it needs to stay on the front pages for awhile. We need as much light shined on it as possible.
I want the mayor and chief to be redfaced over it. Embarrass them as much as we can. The whole fricking situation is blood on their hands.

It was on ABC World News Tonight last night. They had a crew in BTR interviewing the family

WAFB made a post earlier where they said something like "Just in: Allison Rice's cause of death ruled homicide". I lit them the frick up in the comments and next thing I know either they blocked me from it or they deleted it. They deserve to be shamed (WBRZ too) because the local media is partly to blame for the crime being so out of control due to their refusal to actually be journalists. They just don't take the mayor and police chief to task over this shite and it disgusts me.

Been on the phone all morning with WAFB, WBRZ, WVLA, and The Advocate taking them behind the woodshed. Of course, they’re a bunch of limp wrist fricks defending their work.

I just want to put out there that there are a couple of bullshite GoFundMe's out there right now.
I know some of the family and there has been NOTHING official from the family yet in that regard.

Registrar will toss out enough signatures so it fails.

What makes one legit? I realize there are dicks out there who would try to benefit from something like this but the problem is that there's no way to ensure one is legit or not. I just want a way to donate to a reward fund specifically for this case.

Correct. I suppose I used the word "intentional" because it was clearly at close range and they didn't just shoot once and run.
The truth is that we don't actually have many murders of young white women by every day thugs. It's just not a thing. Their victims are overwhelmingly going to be young black men, so this case does feel different.
