Have you ever sat in a Toyota?

Yep, for about 310k miles. Driven it from Georgia to Maine in it. Lots of highway miles. It's as comfortable as either Volvo my wife has had.

Now, the Tacos are rough riding, but my Tundra is quite comfortable.

As for mpg, 15-17 is about right. I have gotten 20 in my Tundra before, but that's going 60-65 on the interstate, which doesn't happen very often.

Toyota product. Why people drive anything else is hard to understand.

And that’s fine. I prefer leather. Which is why I responded to the above quote with why I don’t drive a Toyota product. Thanks for the news.

No wonder you think a Tundra interior isn't so bad.

I'm not sure you can get a new Tundra with a V8.

You cannot.

I'm going to buy used.

Have had 05 F150 (POS-got 11 mpg with 4.6 V8, electrical issues, drove like a tank {aka heavy turd}), never again. Had 08 & 2012 Silverado with 4.8 & 5.3, were good trucks, not much for features but never gave me a problem (both 4x4, 18-19 mpg at best). (Had 2014 & 2020 (current) Tundra with 5.7 (platinum trims), love both. Sold 2014 Tundra because someone gave me more than I paid for it after a year of ownership. 2020 is my baby, never a problem, and know will get me many more miles without a worry (averaged 17 mpg last fill up, i drive like a pawpaw).

This is a dumb thread. People have been arguing about car brads for decades. It’s like vanilla vs chocolate.

It you want an objective answer look at consumer report brand reliability rankings.

Have a driven Rams for 25 years. Never had a major issue. Wife had a Ford once and only once. Had to have engineers fly in from Michigan to work on the lemon when dealer couldn’t solve issue. Sold it and swore off Fords.

You’re saying Ford flew in multiple engineers all the way from Michigan just to work on your car?

Used truck prices are fricking insane. 39K for a 2019 Tundra with 40K miles.

Took me a while but I found Gee Jr a 1989 ford fricking ranger 4*4 with 56k miles on it. 13,500 for a 56k mile truck that’s already got a lift and tires that all the kids like these days. At some point us baws gotta tell the car man to get screwed with these insane prices.

Tundra is by far the truck with the least maintenance issues. The only drawback to the Tundra is the gas mileage and really,
idk why this lie is continued to be said, there is data that disproves this. Tundras have the same amount of issues as 159s and Silverados.

bought a 2019 Tundra, because I wanted dependability because I keep cars for 10+ years.
I have had my raptor for 9.5 years......no issues... All this anecdotal info can be said for any make.

Not in my personal experience.... and really, that's all that matters. I've had a new F150, Sierra and Silverado and all of them had MAJOR issues prior to 100K miles. I'm at 140K on my Tundra and haven't had an issue.
