Where I live it’s the opposite. Probably like 70-80% aren’t wearing masks or even keeping their distance

I would be surprised if even 10% of the people I have seen at the grocery store here are even pretending to wear a mask.

Saw few idiots at store yesterday with mask on. 2 ladies (that’s being generous) wave at a guy and say they haven’t seen him in forever and walk right up to him and hug each other!! What is the mask actually accomplishing with people of this IQ?

With immune issues in household, I'm glad to be in Germany where it's been 100% compliance every time I've gone to store or on base facilities. Not wearing a mask doesn't signal you're a rugged individualist or a patriot. It shows you're self centered and won't voluntarily accept the most minor inconvenience even if it may reduce spread saving lives and hastening the economic recovery. 
Not at all advocating staying shut down but what's so tough about wearing a little mask voluntarily?

The only time I've worn a mask was yesterday at a doctor's appointment. I was told I had to wear one. As soon as I was out of there, the mask came off.
I live in a sparsely populated area. The virus has ravaged two nursing homes near me, but it is literally of no consequence in the general public.
