Actually, that's a pretty damn good argument against Cali.

So they have a great economy, but your dollar goes further everywhere else in the country.

Can we get a breakdown of GDP from the California lovers here? GDP is a mostly meaningless number with context on COL, taxes, unemployment, ECONOMIC MOBILITY, business environment and standard of living.
