I'm surprised they get enough business in that state even in non-crisis situations.

I think the OP is making this up. I tried to find an article about this on google, and couldn't find one.

My wife is a dental hygienist and I’ve heard nothing about this...yet.

The ADA has recommended closing for the next three week but the ADA has no authority over what a dentist does. Is that what you're talking about? I haven't seen anything mandating closures. Gonna need a link baw.

I had a cleaning appt at 9:30 this morning
They called me at 7:44 this morning to cancel
I told her I was surprised it hadn’t already been done, she said they were waiting on a statement from the ADA which came out last night
They are rescheduling all hygiene appts & staying open for emergencies only
I’m sure if you googled you could find ADA statement

I just got a text from my dentist cancelling my appointment for 4/1. Must be national.

Yeah, the government types get a check no matter what. The rest who count on private enterprise have been thrown out w/ no regard.
