Is Jim’s still the best place to go? I’m pretty sure I’ll need an appointment and would like to get one very soon with them.

If Jim’s is unavailable, who are the second and third choice recommendations?

Vehicle is 2018 4-Runner.

Anyone can do an alignment unless you got something unique

Yes, go to Jim's. They're still the best.

Do they deal with big 4x4's? I have a new 3/4 ton dodge that pulls right big time and the dealer is basically just trying to avoid it till the warranty is up. Pretty sure I need a new front axle or something.

As terrible as Firestone is, they are the only place that I am aware of that does a lifetime alignment. Just get the alignment there and nothing else.

Why would you need an alignment shop. Take that shite back to the dealer and tell them to fix.

I'll pay $100 to not have to deal with those idiots. Going to the dealership is bad for my health.

Man take that shite to Jason at K&M on Siegen. He's done alignments on my mama's and my cars for 10 yrs now.

I second AgCo Automotive on Coursey Blvd. They work only by appointment but I think they are closed this week. LINK

I didn’t realize he did alignments as well. I’ve brought two other vehicles to him before (brake pads) and he is as honest and as good as they come.

Do not, under any circumstances, get an alignment at firestone or any other franchise like that, unless you personally know the guy doing it.

All they will do is set the toe and that's it. They aren't trying to spend time to make adjustments to caster and camber if you need it.

Try the more local owned shops and ask if they have an experienced alignment guy. If they have a kid with 2 years experience doing it, leave.

Carmax, they have a dedicated person that does alignments, and is excellent, they will service any vehicle, not just the stuff they sell.

Able Spring specializes in heavy duty trucks. Family owned and they know what they are doing.

Jim’s aligned my bagged truck (trashy I know) without any issues; no one else would even put it on the rack. They’re old school and will do you right.

My car needs one too. I hit some shite after the last storm. I know what tire it is, wondering if I can just adjust it myself and do trial and error until it tracks straight.

Well you two fig-newtons played baseball together. I'd hope he treated you well.

But for real K&M is honest with everyone.

Indeed he is. Good guy too, outside of business dealings.

Another option is Burbank Tire if your need is on that side of town. Good guys there that know what they are doing.
