The way our government and big tech go out of their way to take down Alex Jones has to make you wonder why they’re so afraid of what he’s saying.

The stuff Jones admitted under oath that he didn't even believe?

What exactly did he do for the jury to award monies to the families of the victims? Was he responsible for the trigger man or something?

From the first trial:

quote:

the parents of a 6-year-old killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting described being put through a “living hell” of death threats, harassment and ongoing trauma over the last decade caused by Jones using his media platforms to push claims that it was all a hoax.

quote:

Heslin and Lewis both said they fear for their lives and have been confronted by strangers at home and on the street. Heslin said his home and car have been shot at. The jury heard a death threat sent via telephone message to another Sandy Hook family.

“I can’t even describe the last nine and a half years, the living hell that I and others have had to endure because of the recklessness and negligence of Alex Jones,” Heslin said.

$1.5 million. As I said

$1 million from the estate of who committed the crime. $1 billion from a guy on the radio.

It is impossible for a liberal to think about consequences down the road. They are stage-one thinkers.

Look how getting rid of the filibuster on judicial nominees turned out for them.

This is similar to the J6 arrests/punishments. It is sending a message to anyone who would dare speak out or protest against the current regime.

Right. I'm sure if his last name was Biden, Cuomo, Anderson, etc...there might not even be a thread on this.

What is the justification for that amount? Because if you are just gonna throw magnanimous wild numbers for a lawsuit, why not $50 billion? Why not $100 billion? Why not $1 trillion? He can't pay it regardless the "billionth" you think he should pay because he talked bad once about the left.

I also long for the America where we could try and overthrow our own government because we didn’t like an election result and terrorize the parents of dead children for money. What have we become?

Correct. But shutting him up is a test case for shutting up anyone they want.

This decision isn't a big deal, its the digital un-personing of jones that's scary for individual liberty.

Defamation in a time of emotional suffering. My issue with this suit is how can anyone determine the dollar amount owed to the plaintiffs as compensation for these sorts of "damages"? Obviously Jones was in the wrong, but a billion dollars is ridiculous. He wont end up paying that much as Connecticut law has limitations, but he will certainly be in a dire financial situation for the foreseeable future.

The only problem is that the lawyers are going to get paid a large sum.

so the biggest pieces of shite in all of this are the ones getting paid.
