Air Force tried an All Non White or Female pilot training class. It didn't go well.

quote:

When other priorities, like gender or race, are introduced as a metric of assignment and advancement, the foundations of performance-based competition are sacrificed and the emphasis on safety takes a backseat,” a current Air Force instructor pilot and former trainer for Undergraduate Pilot Training, who spoke on a condition of anonymity due to fear of reprisal, told the DCNF.

Also, some enterprising young JAG officer pointed out a potential flaw in the program:

excluding white candidates was potentially against the law

The Air Force doubled down on efforts intended to improve diversity in the ranks in 2020 following the death of George Floyd, the Air Force Times reported. DOD identified a more extreme lack of racial and gender diversity among so-called “rated” officers, like pilots, who are most often promoted to top leadership positions.

Technically it’s the most legal thing you could ever do.

Actual racism is permissible in certain situations such as promoting equity.

DEI initiatives should be as far away from our military as possible but we live in a clown world so not surprising

No "potentially" about it.
Clear violation.

Having anything and intentionally keeping a specific race of people out on purpose is 100% against the law.

And wait, I’m fairly sure there is a word for that. You know, when you do not allow a race of people to do something or be allowed in somewhere

The law doesn’t apply to white people. It’s legal to shoot them too

Your tax dollars at work. We don't need the modern equivalent of the Tuskegee airmen. We need the best qualified and trained pilots that can be found to populate the ranks of our air force.
The fact that you excluding white men from one or more training classes means that you are excluding some of the best possible pilots on a statistical basis.
Also the fact that we have a fully integrated force that trains and fights together is corroded by this exercise in wokeness.

Probably cancelled due to the number of jet parking accidents and scratched rims.

You guys ever wonder why the Ukrainians and Russians aren’t rushing women to the front lines?

It’s sad how the Air Force forgets their history. Tom cruise is their most successful pilot of all time and he couldn’t even get in today because he’s white

That’s actually pretty insulting to the Tuskegee Airmen. They were pretty badass pilots that got absolutely no favors or preferential treatment in their pursuit of excellence. I don’t believe any of those men would support this type of shenanigans.
