True story. Just bought a bag of birdseed. The cashier chastised me by saying “you know you are keeping birds from flying south and are killing them”.
Besides replying back “will you be able to sleep tonight knowing you are an accomplice?” what would your response have been?

Since I can never think of great comebacks in the moment, my response would have probably been "Well, maybe you need to fly south."
