Experiencing same thing with my grandparents. Both are touch and go right now almost notebook style. Sad but beautiful

Gay response. Speak like a man and not a limp wrist. Sorry about your mom.

You have both your parents and they are both over 80 years old. Count your blessings.

Tube is out and she is breathing on her own. Thanks for all the prayers and I know we are not put of the woods out getting there.

I know I am very fortunate to have both my parents still alive in there 80s.

Having aging parents with health issues does suck.

Nobody should be treated like that, but sometimes caring for them at home is not an option. For the last four months of her life, my mother was bedridden most of the time, couldn't feed herself and was frequently hallucinating. She needed a level of care we couldn't give her.

My father is supposed to get out of inpatient rehab for congestive heart failure later this week after being hospitalized twice since November and having a pacemaker put in. Cognitively he's fine, but he's still pretty weak and needs a lot of help. Just standing up out of a chair is an effort for him. I worry if we'll be able to handle it.

Sorry to hear that, man. I watched my Mom go through stage 4 pancreatic cancer back in 17.

It sucks. It is hard, but sit back and think about it and getting to 80, both of them, they did pretty good.

I did the same thing will my parents back in 2019. Mom passed away in August and Dad passed away less than 2 months later in October.

I just got word that one of my friends whom I've known since college fell off a ladder has a brain bleed and isn't expected to survive. Quite the gut punch on a Monday.
Yes, getting older is really depressing at times.

I had pneumonia when I was in high school and it put me down and out for a few days. It's got to be really, really hard once a person gets up there like 80yrs old.

Prayers for your Mom, dad and yourself.

There will be times when you don't think you can take much more. That's when you find out you can. Godspeed to you and your family.
