A step today in adapting to inflation eating our wealth. I cancelled supplemental insurance policies costing 200 bucks a month. After no claims in 7 years, the move was obvious . I would rather have a ribeye today than a claim maybe in the future.

Every family will scrub its monthly expenditures and delete low value out goes.
Insurance Poor is a great place to start

Start trying different cat foods to see which you like most.

If you are still working that seems short sighted, not to mention whether you are really on a fixed income.

Your entertainment spending could probably be adjusted much easier.

Other low hanging fruit would be to evaluate your true internet speed needs, can you offload some subscription services, if you have home monitoring look into self-monitoring or another provider.

Reshop all insurance plans you are keeping. If you have high auto coverages, look into an umbrella plan and see if you can lower your insurance premiums

ABC Tampa news just discussed this and gave out hints to save on groceries.

Buy less meat.

Buy things on sale.

Buy store brands instead of name brands.

To me, this speaks more to how ignorant ABC thinks people that watch them are.

Hurr duur. You want to save money? Don't spend as much, durrrr.

Auto insurance liability coverage should be no higher than your 401k. Your house is protected from liability as is social security.

Why are you giving advice? We aren't even in a recession yet according to your Orwellian public mouth pieces.

Bad advice all the way around, just blatantly wrong.
