Again...it will depend on where you live at. The amount of humidity where you live at will influence what you need to set your thermostat at to be comfortable.

My new place the Entergy bill is already added in the rent.

The AC never goes off. I keep it at 60 at night and bump it up to 65 when I get up in the morning because I'm freezing.

Why dafuq do you people leave your AC on when you're gone?

Away: Off

Home: 75-78, House never gets above 80 when I am gone and takes ~30 mins to get to 75.

Sleep: once it gets 72 I turn it off and it stays below 75 the whole night.

It depends on how long I'm gone. I mean, if I'm gone for the weekend in the middle of summer, I don't want to come home to an 80 degree house, but because I keep the AC on 65 at night, by the time I am home from work, the temperature is usually about 72 or 73 inside the house which is perfect.

Mine is 78 in the summer and 68 in the winter. This is comfortable since we aren't fat.

I have dogs. One of which is a pug that doesn't tolerate hot temps well. I'm not turning my AC off while I'm at work. Here in the summer you turn your a/c off during the day and it will get really hot inside and that's not nice to dogs.

before kids, away 75, home 72, bed 69-70.

after kids, home 74, bed 73. they kick their blankets off and freeze if we go much lower. they are both under 14 months so they don't yet know "blanket means warmth."

it was a huge adjustment for me and the wife.

frick all that

My thermostat hasn't been above 70 in 6 months.

Except when I'm out of town for work for over a week.

If I'm just going to my dads for a couple days, I still don't even bump it up past the 65 day time temp

Air "conditioning" has nothing to do with a person's weight.
