My bill ranges from maybe 240-175 in South Louisiana. I use levelized billing so I don't have too big of a surprise. Honestly that $60-70 swing isn't enough for me to be too concerned about what I keep it on. I'd rather be comfortable.

When peak summer heat and humidity come, bedtime goes to 68.

74 during the day. At night: 72, 73, or 74 with the ceiling fan going depending on how I'm feeling at the moment. If I'm feeling comfortable at 74 before bed I'll keep it at 74.

When I leave the house I can set it to any temperature I want for a specific amount of time. If I'm gonna be gone all day I'll turn it up to 80 and have it automatically go back down to 74 before I get back.

69/70 at night. 1 degree more and I sweat
74/75 during the day.

Temp is one thing but a comfortable humidity level is what really matters.

75 when away, 72 usually 24/7 for both upper and lower units.
