Fair enough, but I think you’re making a mistake... I truly believe that 90% of the guys who reach out for advice like you did, actually know what they need to do, they just don’t have the security, self worth, and/or testicular fortitude to follow through, and they wind up getting dumped in the end. If I were you, I’d end it now to maintain leverage. You don’t want to wind up on the wrong end of a breakup feeling helpless. Have confidence in yourself. You’ll be fine without her.

Do you hunt/fish? If so, see how this hunting season plays out for you. If she impedes your hunting with her overbearing ways, that should be the final straw. Overbearing bitches hate it when their men go to the hunting camp

This sounds like the kind of thing you are going to frick up.

You're going to break up with what sounds like a great girl that actually cares about you because you don't feel this mythical passion.

Here's whats going to happen: You're going to break up with her. She will be devastated but because she actually sounds like a good catch, she will find someone new and eventually make that dude a great wife.

You will date some sluts, find passion with a total nutjob that will eventually make you miserable...

And then pine for the girl that was actually a good person and good girlfriend for the rest of your life.

Good luck.

agree with this and add she deserves better than you with your attitude. Do her a big favor and end it. She will be better off in the long run.If I wasn't happily married for 43 years I'd ask for her number

Meh... no easy answers. I was married 24 years and still wished I was single! Divorced 6 years ago and dont regret it.
I dont think you can use wanting to be with other women as a reason to jump outta relationship. For me, that never has went away! Just part of being a man.

if youre in the top 10% of men it is pointless to be in a committed monogamous relationship - if this is you OP, proceed accordingly

We as a gender don’t take advantage of these facts nearly often enough.

When I see a good looking and successful guy much younger than me hitched with an unfit women much older than my chick I just shake my head and wonder how so many dudes can settle like that. This is our only shot at life! Why do that to yourself?

I’m currently ring hunting, I must fall somewhere in the 80-89% of men range.

How you been Rock? Still slaying mid-city? Did the new short term rental statutes affect you?

I’m speaking from experience

In my younger days (I’m only 32, but I’ve ran the dating gauntlet ) I fell victim to the very shite I’m trying to get him to avoid

I’d always get into a relationship that I thought was ok, but knew there was SOMETHING missing, and just stay there until I wound up getting dumped in the end leaving me feeling like shite, hopeless, and often broken. I wish I knew then what I know now. Flip the script, take control, maintain relationship ‘leverage’

It’s all a game.. always has been, always will be. You don’t have to be a ‘player’ but you have to at least understand how the pendulum swings

Sounds like you should let her go before you break her heart. Some man that has been treated like shite will adore her because it is hard to find someone with her qualities. Can't burn your candle at both ends.

A huge mistake some people make is thinking they have to get married.

If you want to be single then stay single.

It does not mean you can't date or you must stay alone.

I am curious as to how you suggest the species ought to propagate and rear children.

I don’t think he’s saying that the nuclear family model isn’t a good one, but more that our government and culture have destroyed that model and replaced it with one where government is daddy and the biological father is an ATM with no rights.

That is certainly true, but it doesn't mean that I am going to just give up and frick like a rabbit all my days because of societal decline. If you are aware of a problem, it is your responsibility to do what you can to fix it. Nothing will change if you just bang randoms/engage in polyamory.

Wow. What a wall of text.

You seem like a giant pussy who can't make a decision. Do her a favor and dump her so she can find a real man who will appreciate her.
