Those bad Christians all started their own Protestant religions. That’s my point. Similarities. Pentecostals, Lutherans, Calvinist’s, Anglicans…that’s a quarter of over 2.5 billion Christians on the planet. The two guys who founded the Baptist church were anglicans. The guy who started the Baptist church in America captured and enslaved indigenous people for his own use. All not good people.

As an atheist that has studied just about every religion, I will say this:
At the end of the day, I am not going to stand with the religion whose sole purpose is to destroy western ideals and kill anyone who doesn't think like them.

I have spent a lot of time around "moderate Muslims" most are only moderate in public. Behind close doors they are indifferent at best and supportive at worst of radical Islamic thinking and actions.

Whether Muhammad intended Islam to be as horrible as it is debatable, but also kind of irrelevant. What matters is that Islam is horrible in the world we live in, not whether Islam could theoretically be better in some other universe.
And actually, with how Muhammad married a 6 year old, I’m pretty sure that Muhammad intended Islam to be pretty horrible.
