I wasn't talking about women's sports, I was talking about age of men's fitness prime.

I don't care that women play sports. Let them have at it. But I hate how universities are required to prop up unpopular sports, losing money in the process, all in the name of equality. Title IX has effectively eliminated collegiate men's soccer in this country.

you get the toughest, strongest most hardcore chick fighter in the world, and give Elliott from IT a couple months training and he would knock her TF out.

My daughters swim so I'll use this analogy.

Katie Ledecky is the greatest female swimmer of all time. She will end up breaking Phelps record for gold medals at the Olympics.

Her world record time in her best event would not qualify for the NCAA Division I championship on the men's side.

Best of all time.

The only people that care about women's sports are the parents of the women on the playing field.

Me and my friends back in college used to play beach volleyball at the lake in the summer for fun.

We went to Panama City on spring break and met some girls who were some of the volleyball players from UVA. We were pretty drunk and beat the absolute shite out of them. They were pissed

Did they play beach volleyball? It prob wasn't a collegiate sport then. LSU's women beach volleyball would absolutely murk you unless you are one of the handful of men in the area who are competitive in open tournaments..... In which case you are being incredibly misleading about your experience.

If you have no competitive experience/training, you have no chance of hanging within 10.

I think his team would still win based on history.

What team? He frolicked on a beach at spring break with a bunch of his clown buddies and girls who didn't play beach volleyball. Here is how girl's beach volleyball looks like.

LINK

He and one of his clown buddies wouldn't score more than 5 points against that LSU team. He could play all 6 of his buddies against the 2 of them, and they would still likely get worked.

I'm not trying to totally disagree with the premise of your post by any means but 30 is closer to your athletic prime than 16 or 17.

Competitors or competitors. I like to see people perform at a high level in any sport being played. Do I watch women's basketball? Not much at all, but I keep up with it. Look a few times a week to see who is doing what..

And while I don't know much about gymnastics, you have to give those girls credit. I have only watched it some a few times since it has been on SEC network, but that's intense.

And I actually prefer women's college softball over baseball.

remember when people on this board seriously thought that Rhonda Rousey could beat Floyd Mayweather's arse? Then she got her arse beat twice in a row by other women.

Lol. You clearly have never played volleyball before. Beach and indoor is not that much different. It’s like tennis on grass or clay, minor variations and tweaks.

Also, if you have more players that is an absolutely major advantage. A team of 4 crappy athletes would probably crush a team of 2 pro v-ball athletes simply by covering more area.

Men have generally major physical advantages. In volleyball for example even the best women’s teams are averaging 6’1 to 6’2. Most even average white males will have equal or better hops then those girls. But then you take the college men and there are 6’10 to 7 footers playing.

I coach a HS girls team, and I am tell you the best part is that they don’t give a crap whether you take it seriously or not. They know they can’t beat the boys. They don’t play for the crowds or the chance of turning pro. They play because they love the game and love the competition

Well said, aside from a few tv analysts or outspoken people on social media trying to stay relevant, most female athletes don’t think they could compete with men. Some may say they could jokingly or just trash talking at the most. Not sure why this board gets bent out of shape over how bad men would beat women in whatever sport. 99.9% of female athletes probably don’t give a shite about it and just wanna win their next game, against other females.
