WNBA should lower the goal to 9', but that means they admit they are not as tall, fast, and strong as their male counterparts.
They'd rather have less success than admit the truth

Ehh, it matters by sport. Football? Absolutely not. Pitching? Nope. Every other baseball position sure.

One of my friends is dating a raging lib that lives in Austin. She is actually cool in the fact that we ask her about all the lib bullshite and she will explain it to us without getting super triggered.
She said there are two biological sexes, three it you include hermaphrodites. But that gender and biological sex are completely different.
She tried explaining it more but all I got out of it was that libs just throw science out the window.

My college golf team beat our Women's basketball team in basketball.

WOW, I didn't know that about Serena. McEnroe caught some shite last year for saying she would be ranked 700 in the world if she played on the men's circuit. The talking heads got all pissy because he wouldn't say she was one of the best in the world, regardless of sex. Seems he's right.

Women’s sports are boring to watch and have terrible attendance and viewership for the most part.
One could say the same for minor league men's anything. Even U20 men's soccer doesn't draw anything like the women's national team despite the fact that every one of the players is on a professional roster somewhere (MLS, Germany, etc.)

an average boys jv basketball team from a decent sized hs would win the women's NCAA 'ship, easily
Uh, no they would not.
The McDonald's All-American HS team would do that easily, yes. An average JV team wouldn't have a chance.

A lot of the players on Alabama's team can and will play in the NFL.
True but it's a team game. The NFL team will simply figure out who the weak links are and exploit them all 60 minutes. Alabama does have players who could play in the NFL right now - and plenty who never will.

LOL. Dude the boy's HS All-American team wouldn't just win the women's NCAA tourney. They would absolutely wipe all the women's teams off the court. It wouldn't even be funny.
Now, I don't know about an average HS JV basketball team, but I would bet on a decent boy's varsity team to beat any women's NCAA team, any day of the week.

This seems like a pretty ignorant post low key...
The Serena sisters were young and still growing in their craft versus a grow man who's been in the sport x amount of years. Yeah one can argue physical fitness which would be a valid argument. But experience still plays a part
As far as the soccer team scenario, they have U15 soccer leagues that young boys have to go through training, tryouts, and years of playing to get on. Idk if you've ever watch U15 or U17 soccer matches but those kids ARE GOOD. Some actually played this year in the world cup. The female Ausi team usually has to play against boys since there aren't many female teams for them to play against. Women's national soccer players are usually older and not as quick as a kid with "fresh" legs
Either way, using these two examples to say you can't take women's sports serious is pretty ignorant.

No it was backed up with actual facts. They all got beat.

A guy I went to HS with was one of the male students the La Tech team WBB team would scrimmage against in practice. He played HS basketball but was never a starter.

when I was a kid the first NFL preseason game would be the reigning champ against a team of college all-stars, all stars won it a few times
I was wondering when someone would mention those old games from the late 60's. It was preseason though and mostly played for the adoring fans. Plus even the NFL players back then wouldn't be competitive against today's major college powers.
But in a real contest between teams of the same period it wouldn't be close. SI did a writeup about the series, which went on until 70's. Fun fact: The undefeated 1972 Dolphins almost lost. But most years it was just a bludgeoning by the pros.

I'm thinking OP needs to clarify. Maybe he really does mean what he said.
But I'm wondering if what he meant was: "Reasons I can't take it seriously when people say women and men are equally good at sports."
Yes, there are people who think this (or they at least think women are closing the "athletic gap"). It seems to be part of the whole push toward PC over the past 15-20 years.
But unfortunately, evolution and biology aren't going along with the narrative.

A couple of decades ago a women's fast pitch baseball team played a game against a AAA minor league team. The final score wasn't close (it was something like 18-2), but the womens' pitchers got some strikeouts. I saw that game and the biggest problem seemed to me that when the guys made contact the ball just had much more velocity. When the women did it was often not hit nearly as hard. But the womens' pitchers were throwing 70mph or so, which is good enough if you have a tricky pitch and good command.

I've played rec league soccer fairly competitively for awhile now. A handful of the guys played Div III, not major league prospects but not beginners either.
One time I had a woman come in as a sub who was 24 and a national defensive player of the year for one of the leading women's college programs. She completely crushed all the guys, including those who had played in college. It wasn't close at all.
That's been my general experience observing women who are at or near the top of a women's sport. They'll get crushed by a male pro, or even a guy who isn't professional but is dedicated to his training. But against a guy who used play in college but is now playing just for fun it's usually the other way around.
Not long ago there was a WaPo story about one of the WNBA players who commented that she routinely got challenged by men in that category and just as routinely stomped them. Then her team found out and told her to quit in case there was an injury.
