Isn't it illegal to sell alcohol after 2am in most places?
I guess according to the boards opinion on this. Drug dealers are just unlicensed entrepreneurs.

But still, pretty sure you can't sell alcohol after 2am. That's not a new rule, and he admits to "keeping the party going until 4”.
It's not a court date it's a hearing with ATC. Not attending just means they have the hearing without you or your input.
Plus, it says in the second letter if you want an in person hearing all you have to do is request one.

Yes, to sell. But not to consume. So, if the business owner lets people pay for multiple drinks before 2, then allows them to stay until 4 to finish them, then there's no issue.
I know quite a few establishments that allow this to happen especially now because of this 11pm cutoff bullshite in Louisiana.

The original mandate when JBE (frick that slimy cocksucker) put closing time restrictions on restaurants/bars was 10 pm cutoff and 11pm every one has to be off the property. He pretty quickly changed cutoff time to 11pm, so why wouldn't that push the time for people to be off property back an hour as well?
I'm in the bar/restaurant business. At my place, if all of our customers seem to even attempt to follow any of his "mandates" I'll let my bartenders keep serving until 2 so they can make up on months of lost wages. This bullshite $600 stimulus is a slap in the face to all of my employees. They could make that much, and more, easily, in 2 nights without the horse shite restrictions in place.
TL;DR. frick honor chode, frick the ATC who actually listen to his BS, my employees need to take care of their families.
